Mumbai Art Room to host a "Pasta-Themed Block Party" on April 22

On Tuesday, April 22, the compound outside tiny Colaba gallery Mumbai Art Room will become the venue for a block party of sorts. While in the spirit of all good block parties, everyone's invited and everything's free, the location is less an entire block and more the parking lot of the building in which the gallery is housed. If you go, and you should, there will be - in a nod to the gallery's address of Fourth Pasta Lane - a free "pasta-inspired dish" cooked up by Colaba restaurant Busaba on offer, and entertainment for kids (pasta jewellery-making classes held courtesy of Bungalow 8's Jamini Ahluwalia) and adults (screening of films by Japanese artist Michiko Tsuda). You'll also be able to pop into the gallery to view Scottish artist Scott Myles's ongoing show The Meaning Of Return, where the artist has printed his works directly onto the gallery walls.

Venue: Mumbai Art Room
Address: Pipewala Building, Fourth Pasta Lane, Off Colaba Causeway, Opposite Camy Wafers, Colaba
Opening Hours: 6pm to 8pm
Nearest Transport: Strand Cinema Bus Stop
